Confusion about Hyper sonic database

Hello all,

I need to use Pentaho Reporting file output step within PDI (Kettle) to use the report template file that I design using Pentaho report designer.

Looking at the Pentaho Reporting output example, it requires me to have started the hypersonic database.

How does this step benefit from Kettle to have the hypersonic database to be running?

Can someone please explain this to me?

Also can someone please send me the URL link to download the hypersonic database?


Any information given will be highly appreciated.
