Hibernate.nextval function

Using Pentaho 4.8 which uses MySQL, and getting an error when going to the Login screen:

misc-org.pentaho.platform.engine.services.audit.AuditSQLEntry: FUNCTION hibernate.NEXTVAL does not exist
com.mysql.jdbc.exceptions.jdbc4.MySQLSyntaxErrorException: FUNCTION hibernate.NEXTVAL does not exist

Did I miss a configuration file?
