I have implemented a report based on a mdx query ( type OLAP Pentaho Analysis ) on pentaho platform 5.1 .
The report run in about 20 seconds ( and the cpu go to 100% ) , also if rerun it . If i exec the same query from saiku or jpivot i get the response in 6 second the first time and then 1 second if i rerun the query .
it seems to me that the execution of the report start every time an instance of mondrian .
Is this assumption correct ?
There is any way to avoid this and get a performance boost ?
