Just wanted to give everyone a heads up and report this as a bug if it has not already been reported.
Using the Onyx theme in BI 5.2 CE hides/breaks functionality. A while ago after I had Pentaho all setup with Data Sources I changed to the Onyx theme because studies show darker themes/backgrounds are easier on the eyes.
When I went back recently to define some more cubes I noticed the drop down menu to Edit, Delete, etc, the existing Data Sources was missing and the only option available was to Create New Data Sources.
It took me a while to figure out it was the Onyx theme for after reading the Pentaho Docs on Roles & functionality I thought this was a Security/Role/Browser issue.
I finally created a new account with Admin Privs (which then had default Theme) and the missing functionality was now visible. It still was not 100% obvious it was the Onyx Theme yet after a little more testing and comparison of the two admin accounts I narrowed it down to the Onyx Theme and when I changed the theme back to the default "Crystal Theme' the functionality returned.
So conclusion the Onyx Theme breaks Data Source Administration functionality and possibly other functionality within the BI stack.
