I'm running Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server release 6.5 (Santiago). I unzipped a copy of Pentaho BI Server CE 5.2 to a directory. After running Chmod a+x *.sh and Chmod a+x *.jar I managed to get the Pentaho Business Analytics console on my browser.
I am now trying to use the User interface to create a Database Connection to an Oracle Database. I have copied the appropriate ojdbc5.jar and ojdbc6.jar to tomcat\lib ... When I try to create a new Data Source ... I work my way to the Daabase Connection dialog, select the Oracle driver and have tried setting Access to OCI and Native JDBC ... after completing the details, I get the error message: ConnectionServiceimpl.ERROR_0009 on both Access types (OCI & Native JDBC)
Would anyone have any guidance for me please?
