Hi!
I've made an action sequence file in Design Studio what parses .jasper file into xls format, after that, i send it out via Email. Everything works fine, except after sending out .xls file i cannot open it, and the following error occurs:
jasper_error_parsing_xls.jpg
Those who cant download the image, the error is the following:
The document is corrupt and cannot be opened. To try, and repair it, use the Open and Repair command in the Open dialog box, and select Extra Data when prompted.
In Design Studio, i use a Jasper process action and after that an Email process action what sends the parsed excel file out to given addresses. The problem is, if i dont use Email sending feature, only parsing it, then it works. I run the xaction file in Pentaho and i could download, and Run! the excel file parsed by JasperReportComponent, but if i send out the same parsed xls via email, i get my file corrupted. I have no idea why this happens.
I assumed that the problem should be with Design Studio's Email "component", or with my SMTP server. Any advice?
Cheers
