How to embed reports and dashboards using basic authentication?

Hello,

I know that is possible to use authentication through parameters and embed the reports and dashboards into an iframe. I would like to use basic authentication and then apply https in order to avoid the credentials were exposed, but I don't know how can this be done.

Is this possible?
