Coding Error

Hi,

I have some CDE files in portuguese with a lot of characters like "ç" and "~".
I'm switching to ubuntu server and characters of these files are being replaced by "?" .
How can I fix this?
Could be a problem of language package in ubuntu?
Or was it something in Pentaho?
