Howdy,
Is it true that when using LDAP/JDBC it's not possible to authenticate without using LDAP? I thought it'd be useful to be able to create an account in the BI server directly, without having to modify LDAP.
Along those lines, should the enterprise (admin) console be able to connect to the BI server when it is setup to use LDAP? I'm currently seeing HTTP 403s in the logs, and it doesn't look like the service validation is working.
We're using the LDAP/JDBC hybrid option to avoid having to create groups in LDAP.
Thanks,
-Brian
