Process hangs on attempt to use data connection defined under PEC with the data source wizard on PUC

Hi, i'm new here so forgive me if i'm doing something wrong.

We want to use Pentaho with MS SQL databases, with either the JTDS or MS JDBC driver, so i need a solutions for this error. it is know under JIRA: BISERVER-8356.


The fix version is 4.8.1 GA. Is this version already available? Or is the changed code already available?


Is there a workaround? Any help is appreciated.
