Mongodb driver or DB connection for BI Server

I posted awhile back on how to configure Mongodb db connection on the server side. Never really got an answer as far as if this is even possible. I'm using Groovy scripting currently to embed Mongodb connection and I avoid the dreaded report validation error. Groovy design is very involved and would like to be able to use server side capability.

Bottom line I'm just looking for someone that has been able add Mongodb connection on BI server 4.8 using the Pentaho Administration Console.
