Ad Hoc Reporting Functionality for 5.2 CE BI?

First off . . . Kudos to all the BI Developers, I am very impressed with 5.2 and the Marketplace Integration! Great Job!

I noticed Saiku Ad Hoc (Now Saiku Reporting) is not yet available in the Marketplace. I personally really liked Saiku Ad Hoc cuz the UI was very intuitive and easy to get rolling on for novice users!

I just got 5.2 up and running after being on 4.8 for a while and when I noticed I could not install Saiku Reporting I installed WAQR and compared to Saiku Ad Hoc I am not impressed with the WAQR UI for it is not as intuitive plus it is no longer supported.

So I checked out CDB since I had never played with it before & had always used Saiku Ad Hoc in BI 4.x. When I went into CDB and chose "New Query" then clicked on "Set Query" it just dumped me into Saiku Analytics. I don't get it . . . ?

So is CDB not really a standalone "Data Browser" for building Reports like Saiku Ad Hoc? Is this the intended design of CDB ie: to just dump you into Saiku Analytics? What would have happened if I did not have Saiku Analytics installed?

Is there any functionality available that I can install through Marketplace in 5.2 that gives me the same functionality as Saiku Ad Hoc? Don't get me wrong I love Saiku Analytics yet I also loved Saiku Ad Hoc but they are definitely different tools!

Can Saiku Ad Hoc Plugin still be manually installed in BI 5.2 w/o messing up Marketplace in any way?

Are Ctools and Marketplace installed plugins compatible on a 5.2 BI install side by side or is it best once you run Marketplace to not use Ctools? Are there any compatibility issues with running old 4.x plugins like Saiku Ad Hoc on a 5.2 instance of BI?
