I installed Pentaho 4.8 on Ubuntu 12.04 server using the instance of tomcat installed from the repositories .
I did not use the instance of tomcat contained in the binary distribution of Pentaho .
I thought it was enough to change the location of the solution .
In fact everything seemed to work .
However, when i tried to access via XML/A the olap data of the sample solution i got an error .
The error is due to the fact that fails the creation of an instance MondrianCatalogHelper .
in the same way as the registration plugin cdc (ctools) fails because the class loader can not find the class com.hazelcast.core.MembershipListener.
However, the jar that contains the class exists in the folder structure of the plugin .
All of these problems seem to be linked to a problem of classpath .
I would be very helpful to know what is missing in the configuration of the standard installation of tomcat 6 than the one provided in the binary distribution of Pentaho .
